Puppie had a Birthday!

He thinks he wants to be 5 instead of 3. He loves his new toys though outfit. He is growing up so fast and is such a polite little boy. He makes my heart warm with his gentle ways with me.

Sorry

We haven't been blogging much. Have had a lot of struggles lately and have been working them out, by well, working out. I am feeling better and looking a lil better, but still have a WAYS to go. Almost everyone has been working out with me and the level of activity and endurance in our house has really increased. It cracks me up the the two youngest use their own weights everyday and try to use resistance bands.Gherkin has taken it upon herself to become a personal fitness instructor and has named herself Lil Jillian. If she doesn't think someone is trying hard enough she calls out. LIFT THOSE LEGS, PICK IT UP GIRL, DON'T MAKE ME ADD 5 SETS. FINISH STRONG. CRISS CROSS! Makes me giggle. Maybe I can leave a legacy of health and fitness someday. This isn't all that healthy, but coming up soon is an Eggs Golden Rod Recipe and Rolls Recipe for Nicole so she can continue some holiday traditions. If we dye eggs, we hide and then eat them. If we paint pumpkin we peel and cook them and make breads and pies. Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

Life is at Warp Speed

Most of you will have already read my FB status and know that Brett got his license! He is so excited. AND Nicole and Ryan are having a baby! Things change rapidly at our house! Frosty spent most of the night in tears. He is afraid he will lose his hair of he is an uncle. Long story, but he has an Uncle with his name and he is doesn't want a chrome dome. Puppy spent all night telling me he is my baby and that babies wear pants, so he will now be wearing pants and that everyone is my baby. Even Nicole. I told him he was right. He was so SERIOUS. He makes me laugh so hard. His facial expressions are so animated. He kept grabbing my face with both his hands, "Mommy! I gonna be an Uncle!" Then Frosty would burst into tears again. Everyone else in the house was screaming and squealing and very happy too. Just sad we won't be near them.

Tired

We have been working really hard on getting our house done and various projects, so tonight, we are taking the night off. Watching a movie and going to bed early. That's the plan anyway. I think we are all getting just a little run down with all the changes happening. Sarah is doing pretty well. The meds are doing what they are supposed to. It treats it, not cures. She is struggling a little with growing up and being responsible for herself and all the new things to remember, but she'll get it. Hard to be 18 sometimes.

Favorite New Quote Today

Upon entering the Drs. office today, she looked at me and smiled. "Why, there is considerably less of you today." I said, "Well, we didn't have to bring everyone." She protested, "No, I mean of you, just you. You are a lot smaller than a couple weeks ago." I think I will do extra on my workout today. :)
