Sarah has been able to drop off her heavy duty meds AND feel better by participating in the challenge. Faith, prayers and hard work create mighty miracles. Sometimes I wonder if exercise is the cure for almost all that ails you.....

Stephanie Got Baptized!
She had her special day surrounded by friends and family that love her. Most importantly, she made a covenant to follow the Lord and took it seriously. So proud of her! Brett was able to perform the baptism. Can't even adequately express my feelings... Beautiful day and I LOVED seeing my family that was able to come. You all have NO idea how much I miss you guys!

Dumb Things I Do
The things we let bother us! I have been letting other people being control freaks or kinda dumb get to me. Why does their opinions seem to matter so much? Ugh. That's ok, I know God is proud of me, and really, that's all that matters. Trying Brittney's advice. Making like a duck, sliding off my back. QUACK, QUACK, QUACK..... Gonna go get on this day and SWEAT.

Insert whiny voice for effect. Did I win the competition? Anything???? So hard waiting.... Ugh! I hope it is soon! So ready to start to this new competition. I found I have not done so well on my own. I need the daily contact, goal setting and tracking. Makes me more determined. What I have slid back on, I will more then make up for starting Monday. Gotta save something for the competition!

Answering the QUESTION!
Wow, didn't realize so many would be interested....
Ok, so everybody wants to know my SECRET. Here it is.... HARDWORK and watching what I eat. I work out EVERYDAY but Sunday. I work out NO less than 1 hour a day, drink almost a gallon of water and make sure I EAT enough to support the calories worked off. I pay attention to calories and nutrition and decide what works best for MY body. I do a lot of cardio and strength training. Strength training 3 days a week. Cardio everyday. I carry weights while I walk and lift my kids weights as I allow them to talk to me while I walk and LISTEN. It has drastically improved our relationships as we are moving while we talk so no one is under pressure by being stared at. I change the exercises EVERYDAY. It's all a new adventure everyday, and LOTS of music, changing it all the time because I get burned out quick.
I have been doing the Wellness Challenges with my little sister and that has helped me stay on track. If you know other people are counting on what you are doing, you are more likely to keep at it.
I still have a LONG way to go, but I am systematically moving forward. Feeling better all the time and if it doesn't solve my health problems, it certainly isn't going to hurt..... So, cheer us on as I gather friends and family to start the NEW SUMMER CHALLENGE and we take control of our lives and THINK of our decisions and how they effect our families and posterity and bless the health of those all around us.
So, I invite you to join us on our quest for Wellness and whether you become a paying member, know you have ALL our support and I will be trying to win the challenge. :) Here are the rules and contact info for Dianne. Last Day!

Eggs Golden Rod
This is a Family Favorite
Boil as many eggs as you want to dye.
Cool.
Prepare your white sauce. (I usually times by 12)
1 tbsp. margarine
1 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash Pepper
3/4 cup of milk
In a small pan melt margarine. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Makes 3/4 cup. (12 1tbsp. servings)
After eggs are dyed and hid and found again, we peel the eggs and chop up the egg whites into chunks. Add these to your white sauce. Crumble the boiled yolks into a separate bowl. Toast wheat bread and cover with your chunky white sauce. Sprinkle with as much or as little egg yolk as you prefer.
This is actually really good and our kids LOVE it. Everyone we have ever served it to has loved it as well. That's why we make so much at a time. I KNOW we won't ever have leftovers.
